I tried SOOO hard to give this game a chance despite all the bad reviews I read and I Extremely regret that I did. The story mode is so linear and has no feeling of adventure whatsoever. I'm only level 12 and I can literally stand in one place for minutes (LITERALLY!!!) while hordes of enemies attack me and I will not die. The game is so ridiculously easy I just started out and I haven't died a single time and I've been in the first act on hard mode. I would've preferred they keep the graphics the same then make them look like they do. The graphics are almost cartoonish (it's like they took them straight from World of Warcraft) and don't give you the same rugged feeling like Diablo 2. There's just so much I can say about how bad it is I don't know where to start. The game is not the worst but it is nowhere near enjoyable compared to any other game on the market.if you're like me and you're buying it because you like to Diablo 2 please don't make the same mistake I did by giving this game a chance. There is reason this game has been given 100s of rave reviews and that's because it is that good, it doesn't get old, you just take a break from it and dive back in for more a while later. Sound and voice acting, from the crunches to the dialogue are excellent and it may be story light however what has been written fits the game perfectly well. Performance-wise its spectacular running at 60fps I haven't noticed any issues or glitches and the controls are smooth, responsive and easy to use (I wish the recently released Wasteland 2: Director's Cut would've taken a page out of Diablo's book when it comes to controls and menu navigation). I must say I found it a bit too easy on Normal mode dying maybe once, twice max, and crucifying the bosses with ease, however the pull with Diablo is to keep coming back and back and back. Sure Diablo isn't particularly deep, in-fact it's linear is hell, but it knows what it is and its extremely good at it. Diablo is not usually my sort of game but for zoning out and partaking in a bit of good old fashioned blood soaked demon bashing nothing comes close to this.
